The JPS Design & Construction Department oversees design, building modification, renovation, and new construction for JPS Health Network and follows all local, state, federal, TDH, TDLR, NFPA 101 and Joint Commission requirements.
The Design & Construction Department has project management responsibility over architects, engineers, and general contractors that contract with JPS Health Network. In addition, the department has an in-house construction crew that will renovate, modify and/or construct small projects when appropriate.
The department is comprised of the Director, Construction Program Coordinator, Design Program Coordinator, Construction Project Manager, Office Manager, Project Superintendent, CAD Technician, drywall installers, master carpenter, and master electrician.
